Who is Blk Cinema ?
Blk Cinema is a Hip Hop Duo who came together to make incredible music. The duo consists of Emcee/Writer
Kelvy, and Emcee/Producer/DJ Lenny Virgo. Lenny has worked with & produced for tons of artist. Kelvy is an author, and
rapper who would create freestyles and post them on social media. Lenny Virgo took interest in Kelvy, and Kelvy is not
only a fan of Lenny, but they have mutual friends. For a couple of years they tried to work together but nothing ever
happened. They finally linked up to work on the first Kelvy EP, but the connection and the music and ideas came together
so fast that instead of a solo EP from Kelvy, turned into the first project of the duo they formed "Blk Cinema”
The recording of this project was quite unique.
Due to modern technology, they able to complete the ep without being in the studio together. Kelvin recorded his vocals on his computer and sent them to Lenny.
Lenny matched the vocals to music.

It’s sounds easy but without music to record his vocals, kelvin had to create a mood all his own and lenny had to as well.
Actually, this ep was a Culmination of blind trust.

As a result... Blk Cinema was formed.
